This project aims to control the spread of Prickly Acacia and reduce the impact of weeds in the Mitchell Grass Downs bioregion of North West Queensland.

Benefits to the community

This project will benefit landholders and environment in Nelia District to further implement strategic weed control in 60,000ha in Mitchell Grass Downs and will strengthen the containment lines and create buffer zones.
