The project aims to plant mid story and ground cover species in the designated re-vegetation areas to substantially improve the ecological function and attractiveness of the reserve.

Benefits to the community

This project will improve the vegetation structure of the site and enhance the connectivity of the RAMSAR wetland to the Lytton Ecological corridor. Through litter clean-up activities, the local community will be engaged in an endeavour to provide a level of understanding and respect for the park.
