Summary

This project will assist landholders to control feral pigs on pastoral land across seven properties on the Gilbert River and tributaries in Far North Queensland.

Benefits to the community

This project will allow for regeneration of riparian areas, reduce erosion on grazing lands and allow for improved weed control. Additionally, the regeneration of riparian areas will improve water quality and strengthen biodiversity corridors and build greater landscape resilience.
