Find a volunteer project—Moorrinya National Park caretakers

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, some of our volunteering programs are currently operating on a limited basis, in line with social distancing and restrictions on travel. We encourage you to check with the local contact listed for each volunteering program to find out if they are currently operating.

Support rangers in a remote area by helping look after the park’s homestead complex.

The project involves: general park duties and/or maintenance.

No training is provided.

A low to moderate level of fitness is required.

Must have senior first-aid certificate. Suits volunteers with 4WD vehicle and experience in living or working in isolated areas.

Miniumum 2 volunteers, live on-site for maximum 8 weeks duration. Access to amenities (toilets, electricity, drinking water) available however volunteers should have own camper-trailer or caravan. Discuss what to bring with Ranger-in-charge.
