Find a volunteer project—Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre Wildlife Centre volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help maintain the wildlife centre and surrounds, and with general husbandry tasks.


Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre, D’Aguilar National Park

  • Year round
  • Weekdays from 8.00am to 3.00pm.

QPWS registered volunteers

The project involves:

  • Animal husbandry, wildlife care and/or rehabilitation
  • General park duties and/or maintenance
  • Track work

Training will be provided.

A moderate level of fitness is required.

Limited positions available, must be 18 years or older. Volunteers have no direct contact with Wildlife Centre animals.
