Short description Eucalyptus crebra woodland on metamorphics

Description Eucalyptus crebra, E. dealbata, E. albens grassy woodland. Occurs on Mesozoic to Proterozoic moderately to strongly deformed and metamorphosed sediments and interbedded volcanics. (BVG1M: 13c)

Special values Habitat of Eucalyptus terrica, a species with a localised distribution.
Fire management guidelines SEASON: Autumn/Winter (Apr-Aug). INTENSITY: Low. INTERVAL: 5-15 years. STRATEGY: Burn < 20% of stands in any year, burning patches each year whenever possible.
Comments 13.11.3: Highly fragmented, remnants heavily grazed. Poor management can prevent recruitment of tree species. Increasing shrub density in some situations.
