| Description | Acacia sibirica predominates forming a well defined but discontinuous canopy layer. Scattered tall shrubs of Acacia aneura emerge and in places, isolated low trees of Corymbia terminalis occur. Other low shrubs may be present. The ground cover is sparse, and composed of grasses and forbs. Grades into Acacia aneura +/- Acacia sibirica tall open shrubland (5.5.2) in places. Occurs on flat to undulating plains and crests of dissected tablelands with slopes of 1 to 10%. Soils shallow, stony, acidic, red, earthy loam and clay-loam lithosols. Silcrete stones and boulders spread throughout. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 24a). Vegetation communities in this regional ecosystem include: 5.5.4x1: Aristida contorta open tussock grassland with occasional scattered/groved Acacia sibirica, Acacia aneura and in places, isolated low trees of Corymbia terminalis occur. Other low shrubs may be present. The ground cover is sparse, and composed of grasses and forbs. Occurs on flat to undulating plains and crests of dissected tablelands with slopes of 1 to 10%.
