Tips for searching

You can search for individual plant or animal species or you can use the browse feature to list species within a family.

To locate a species select the relevant kingdom and enter all or part of the common name or scientific name and click the search button.

A search of animals named ‘bat’ will return species with names including ‘bat’, ‘wombat’ and ‘Vombatus’
