- Description
- Apatophyllum olsenii is a shrub to 1m tall with hairless branchlets. The leaves may or may not have a short stalk. Leaves are linear, 8-22mm long and 0.7-1.2mm wide. The flowers are solitary with 5 overlapping petals are triangular in shape and 0.9-1mm long. The fruit is inversely egg-shaped, a 1 or 2-seeded slightly compressed capsule, 7-7.5mm long and 2.5-4.5mm wide. The seeds are cylindrical, 4.5mm long, 2mm wide and dark purplish-brown. (Jessup 1984)

- Apatophyllum olsenii is only known to occur in the Many Peaks Range, south of Gladstone, in central-eastern Queensland. (Herbrecs 2008)
