Reconnecting World Heritage rainforests at East Evelyn Gap, Atherton Tablelands
This project aims to increase connectivity across the East Evelyn Gap and improve habitat for threatened species. This will be achieved through treatment of WONS Lantana and woody weeds across 23 hectares and planting of 11,000 trees to complete a 110km wildlife corridor. The East Evelyn Gap has been identified as a high priority ecological corridor by WTMA.
