Reconnecting and expanding known Summerholm koala habitat
This project aims to improve koala habitat in the Lockyer Valley by treating weeds, including lantana and asparagus fern, at a 4.7 hectare Summerholm property. Over 4,700 native plants will be planted on the site, eucalyptus seed will be spread and 90 nest boxes will be installed.
