Shore to Seafloor: Tackling Marine Debris Across the Marine Environment
This project aims to undertake community land-based and water-based clean up events at previously identified marine debris hotspot locations along the Great Barrier Reef and South East Qld coastline. This project will train and engage volunteers and encourage the community to participate in collecting litter marine. Litter collected will be weighed, sorted and uploaded into the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database (AMDI).
