Lower Bulimba Creek Cleanup
This project aims to engage the community, landcare partners and volunteers, to undertake marine and land-based debris removal activities in Bulimba Creek, waterways and riparian zones. This will include two events in Hemmant/Murarrie area focussing on large debris and also four paddle events removing litter downstream in lower Bulimba Creek. Participants and the wider public will be educated about the adverse effects of litter on the natural environment and how they can contribute to improve the ecosystems.
