Hinchinbrook & Surrounding Islands
This project aims to remove marine debris from the world heritage island of Hinchinbrook, Ramsey Bay and surrounding Islands. The project will engage volunteers to collect and sort marine debris onsite. Debris collected will be taken to the mainland for further processing, unrecyclables will be sent to the local landfill, HDPE and PET plastics will be collected and transported to recycling and storage sites for further processing.
