Sea World Foundation Ocean Clean Up
This project aims to continue building on positive impacts for waterways, beaches and parkland in The Spit area by holding a community clean up event attended by up to 400 volunteers at Doug Jennings Park, numerous Nippers clean up events at Surf Life Saving Clubs, five School clean up events involving up to 600 students. Rubbish data collected from clean up events will be contributed to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database.
