Cape Palmerston Clean-Up Initiative: Community Marine Debris Collection and Monitoring
This project aims to address litter and marine debris issues within Cape Palmerston National Park by creating a local community action group, identifying priority hotspots to undertake community clean up events, establishing a regular marine debris monitoring and collection program and implementing educational initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of litter prevention and encourage sustainable behaviours among community members.
