Whitsunday Marine Debris Removal & Recycling Program
This project aims to remove and reduce marine debris across the Whitsunday Islands by undertaking clean-up events, counting and sorting sessions, recycling and education activities and Clean Streets and Creek events to help prevent litter from reaching the ocean. The project includes data collection and reporting intended to enhance environmental stewardship and protection for marine life.
