Currumbin Clean-Up and Education Program
This project aims to engage the local community and local primary schools in a year-long initiative to reduce litter and marine debris. This will be achieved by conducting community clean-up events and term-based clean-up campaigns where students will collect, sort and record waste using custom audit sheets. This initiative will promote sustainable behaviours, environmental education and foster an understanding of the impact of litter on wildlife and waterways in the community.
