Maroochy River Litter & Marine Debris Community Engagement Project
This project aims to reduce litter and marine debris at various sites along the mouth of the Maroochy River and surrounding beaches. The project will include community beach clean-up events and educational workshops at local schools. Rubbish collected will contribute to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database. The project will also promote increased recycling rates and improve waste management practices.
