Improving monitoring and community-led awareness for koala conservation
This project aims to develop and demonstrate drone-based protocols to estimate population size of koalas in fragmented habitat and distribution of koalas in the Burleigh Heads region. This project will also implement community action to increase awareness and reduce koala mortality.
