Oxley Creek Catchment Association (OCCA) Community-based Waterway Corridor Clean-up Initiative
This project aims to coordinate 16 waterway litter and debris clean up events within the Oxley River corridor. This project will engage 10 schools to encourage ongoing participation in clean-up events, develop a web-page and social media to drive community interest of clean up events and purchase equipment used for these events. These activities will engage volunteers from schools, community groups and local residents. All data will be entered into AMDI. Additional funding was allocated to the project to assist with post flood marine debris clean up activities.
