Whitsunday Marine Plastics Recycling Program
This project aims to increase Eco Barge's capacity to recycle marine plastic, ensuring that all recyclable plastic that is collected is recycled and diverted from landfill engaging over 300 volunteers at 50 recycling events. Funding would involve hiring a dedicated Marine Plastic Recycling coordinator, to expand the recycling program and implement more efficient ways of processing plastics.
