Indigenous Collaborative Management of Threatened Coastal Birds Project
This project aims to survey beaches and inshore islands from Russell Heads to Mowbray River to provide comprehesive data on knowledge gaps for threatend migratory shorebirds, including the Beach Stone-Curlew. This project will engage community volunteers and three indigenous ranger teams to undertake the surveys. Data gathered will inform effective conservation and management actions for threatened coastal bird species.
