Austinville Subtropical Lowland Rainforest Restoration
This project aims to weed 34.5 hectares and plant 2,000 trees in Springbrook National Park to reduce weed threats, and provide the optimum growing environment for 12 threatened flora species. This project will also improve habitat for Grey Headed Flying Fox, Cascade Tree frog, Tusked frog, Powerful Owl and Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. Weeds targeted include Lantana , Blue Billygoat Weed and Camphor Laurel.
