Bonadio Corridor Mabi Stepping Stones

This project aims to improve and expand a corridor of endangered Mabi forest at Picnic Creek Crossing Reserve along the Barron River. This will be achieved by weeding 4 hectares and planting 3,120 native trees including species such as Pink Silky Oak and Atherton Sauropus. This project will provide a refuge/corridor area for an array of endemic Mabi fauna and flora species, including the threatened Spectacled Flying Fox and Tapping Green-eyed tree frog.
