Fire, Climate Change and Gamba Grass, Alkoomie Nature Refuge
This project aims to improve climate change resilience and reduce habitat loss of threatened species such as the Northern Quoll and Ghost Bat populations within Alkoomie Nature Reserve. This will be achieved by treating 880 hectares of Gamba Grass infestation through chemical weed management enabling better fire management regimes.
