Sawfish monitoring in Far North Queensland
This project aims to survey and monitor the sawfish populations located within Kowanyama/Mitchell River and Rinyirrum/Lakefield National Park in Far North Queensland over three years. Three Indigenous Rangers groups will partner to undertake regular data collection field trips and deliver twelve education opportunities to both local community and school students of the sawfish conservation status.
