Extending and improving habitat for the endangered Bulloak Jewel butterfly
This project aims to undertake actitivies to improve and extend the Bulloak Jewel butterfly brigalow belt habitat. This project will undertake weed control of 355 hectares, plant 152 hectares of appropriate plant species, and install 6 kms of protective fencing. The project will also inform the Goondiwindi community of the importance of their local endemic threatened butterfly species through two community education and tree planting events.
