Climate Impacts on Threatened Marine Turtles in the Wellesley Islands
This project aims to support Traditional Owners in collecting rigorous scientific baseline data on multiple threatened marine turtle species including Green, Olive Ridley and Hawksbill turtles throughout the Wellesley Islands, Gulf of Carpentaria. It will undertake data collection, identify marine debris hotspots and engage the local community regarding human impacts on marine turtles including climate change and pollution.
